ICE CREAM RIDE - Hostel Shoppe, Stevens Point, WI - Friday afternoon (No mass start) - 15 miles - It’s a great way to
get the weekend rolling. Pick up your registration packet and head out on the marked route through
the beautiful Wisconsin landscape. Cool off after the ride by visiting Cafe Veranda across
from the Hostel Shoppe for a delicious ice cream treat. No Sag vehicles on this ride. If you need
assistance during the ride, call the Hostel Shoppe at 715-341-2453.

CHANGE FOR SATURDAY: Due to construction in the Business Park, all Saturday events will be held
at the Jensen Center in Amherst. The quiet community of Amherst is 14 miles east of Stevens Point and is
familiar to previous Rally participants. Test rides will be held in the nearby high school parking lot,
which will completely separate the test ride track from traffic. Also, this setting will provide a variety
of different and even more lightly traveled routes for the Saturday tours.
STORE HOURS - 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Rally participants will have time to visit the
Hostel Shoppe after the Rally test rides close down at 3:00 pm on Saturday.
REGISTRATION & CHECK IN - 8:00 am at the Jensen Center, Amherst, WI.
Coffee & Baked Goods for purchase: 8:00 - 11:30 am.
MORNING TOUR - 9:00 am - 15, 30 & 60 miles -
Enjoy various routes with tour leaders and sag wagons on each route. Marked routes will be northeast of
Amherst on very lightly traveled roads. The 9:00 am start will allow the more energetic riders, staying in
Stevens Point, time to ride the 14 miles to the Rally. Route maps will be provided for participants that want
to ride from the Hostel Shoppe to the Rally on Saturday.
TEST RIDES - 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm -
Those new to recumbent riding can test ride a bike from our select group
of demo recumbents. Meet industry reps and ride their latest bikes.
Helmets are required!
SWAP MEET - 10:00 am to 3:00 pm - At the Jensen Center.
Buy or sell used equipment! Add to your stable or clean out the garage to
make room for a new bike! Free to registered rally participants. You are
responsible for all monetary transactions.
LUNCH - Catered by: Ambrosia Pub & Grill - 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the Jensen Center.

pre-register by July 26th. Only limited amounts will be available on a first come, first serve basis - and all registrations
received after July 26th will pay the higher price.

THE "SUPER TOUR" - 8:00 am to 3:00 pm - Wrap up the Rally with a scenic recumbent tour on
beautiful, lightly traveled, well-paved back roads around Amherst, WI. Meet at 8:00 am at Standing Rocks County Park, and be
ready to ride. A route of three different lengths will be geared to different riding abilities. The ride will take place
weather permitting. Maps and sag wagon service will be provided. We will try to provide for different riding
speeds by having two group leaders to ride with different groups.
LUNCH - Catered by: Ambrosia Pub & Grill - served from 11:30 to 1:30 pm.

All Rally participants will be charged a $15 fee for 2008. These costs include test rides, tents, tables,
chairs, porta-potties, route marking, map printing and sag service. Rather
than eliminating some of the services and keeping the Rally free, we have
elected to continue holding a high quality event and charge a small fee.

below, and is subject to change. Pre-registration must be received
by July 26th for discounted rates.
