HP Velotechnik Scorpion fx - 2010
A foldable recumbent tricycle designed for day riding and touring, the Scorpion fx fits in the trunk of most compact cars. (With front wheels and mudguards removed.)
Available with HP's adjustable BodyLink seat or ErgoMesh seat. Plush suspension assures relaxing comfort, while the reliable No-Squat Design eliminates energy robbing suspension induced pogo. The cross member is bent up and forward to lengthen the wheelbase to 41”, for improved braking and stability, while providing easy access to the seat and eliminating heel interference for smaller riders. With a seat height of 14 inches, the seat position is 3.5 inches higher and more upright than the sportier standard Scorpion. It can also fit through a standard doorway. The stiff aluminum framed bike weighs in at 37.7 pounds. Rear rack and fenders pictured on the trike are not included in the price of trike.

Sizing Notes:
Important – Adjustable Boom Warning
When adjusting the boom, the chain length needs to be adjusted accordingly. Riding with improper chain length can cause damage to both the rear derailluer and frame. Always make sure there is enough chain for the big chainring/big cassette cog gear combination. We recommend the following tools to adjust chain length: Park Mini Chain Brute Chain Tool (#59828) and Park Master Link Pliers (#30788).
